General Information

Katowice, in southern Poland, stands at the crossroads of history and remembrance. Just an hour away lies Auschwitz-Birkenau, the most infamous of the Nazi concentration and extermination camps. As we mark 80 years since the Holocaust, we gather here in commemoration and prayer, honoring the memory of those who perished.

Between 1941 and 1945, Poland became the epicenter of Nazi Germany’s “Final Solution,” with over three million Jews systematically murdered. Auschwitz, alongside other death camps like Treblinka, Sobibor, and Belzec, bore witness to unimaginable atrocities—mass executions, gas chambers, and forced labor that wiped out entire communities. Their voices may have been silenced, but their legacy endures.

In this sacred remembrance, Morari Bapu’s Ram Katha finds its place. Rooted in truth, love, and compassion, the Katha serves as a beacon of healing, honoring the resilience of the human spirit. By gathering in Katowice, near the shadows of Auschwitz, we affirm that light will always rise from darkness, and that love and remembrance will forever triumph over hatred.
